@0067drof Stock clutch wouldnt hold up to anything close to this lol, the truck has a south bend dual disk and 3. 73 gears, as for the dpf falling off I went from 10mpg to 16mpg mainly rual roads and intown driving.
Nice truck, just wondering how your stock clutch is holding up to this. You have 3. 73 or 3. 42 rear and what kind of milage bump did you get from the dpf falling off?
Whats really nice is living where nobody cares about anything like that, drive around with straight pipes without worrying about a stupid inspection or even run around in a car with a high-compression race gas engine if you like. (Nebraska) Mean-ass truck by the way.
When you get one inspected what makes it pass or fail is who you take it to. Is my truck legal? Not really. . . will it pass inspection? yes.
You just have to find a shop that will look over certain things.
If you go more fuel before more air your gonna make alot of heat. . . and heat kills. The 6. 7’s LOVE more air. I highley suggest doing a turbo before you do more fuel. Dual cp3s are great if you have the injectors and AIR to support them. With out a bigger turbo your gonna fry something, most likely your stock turbo. Im running a silver bullet 66 and i have 90 hp injectors and a arson cp3 kit and it runs AMAZING. A upgraded cp3 will support 90’s. Alot also depends on what tune you run. . .
wut about just single modified cp3 n injectors n lift pump do i still need a biggger turbo?. . . me n the old mad just have planed for intake, turbo back exhaust, intercooler, studs, hoses, clutch just basic stuff but where wondering about duals ?
With dual cp3s your gonna want bigger injectors, a bigger turbo, and a bigger lift pump. With out those you will have no real useable power. Just heat and smoke. The stock turbos on these trucks suck! Thats the first thing i would change after you get that clutch put in. Then lift pump and injectors then cp3
hey dude awsone i just bought a brand new regular cab i got a south bend clutch that holds 1100hp for daily driving im wondering if i run dual cp3s do i need to compensate in the turbo somehow like twins or bigger or it will run fine ?
No i did NOT use the parking brake. You use your heel to hold the brake and your toes to push the GO PEDAL to about 2500rpm’s Slip the clutch untill it hits 20psi and let off the brake and smash the GO PEDAL to the floor and hang on =)
I did some 4th gear launches to but didnt get any video of em =-/
Sorry, forgot all the details of this video aren’t here. The truck is a manual, and he basically did a boosted launch. The only way to do that with a manual is to set the parking brake and let out on the clutch just enough to put a load on the engine so it can actually build boost. Once you reach the desired boost you release the parking brake and the clutch. Make sense?
your not running the 14 tune now are you that tune was a head gasket killer im running i think the latest is 23

hey man have u had 2 get ur truck inspected if so how did it go mine needs it just askin
you will have you mess with the tune to make the truck push more fuel, and to add timing and duration. . . both are needed for more power.
no just just a dpf delete tune we aint messin with the comp just mechanical

Thats badass son! What clutch are you using?
Yes its straight piped. And yes when Im racing someone I start in 3rd gear 4 wheel drive with boost around 20psi
is that just another way to stage?
staight piped?
do you start out in 3rd gear when you race with your 6 speed?
That was kick ass. Sounded sick! I have yet to hear mine from the outside, I won’t let anyone else drive my truck. Az2500Cummins
Thats what I do !
Hey! Lets take a vid of my car doing that!
I could do it all day with my Goerends Auto and Edge Hot J/A
I don’t think my foot is long enough to use the brake pedal. May need to try that at the track this Friday night though.
