The v 10s are the some of the most gutless gas guzzeling trucks known to man. My 05 2500HD crew cab 6. 0L gas towed with a 2007 V10 extended cab. My camp trailer was 3 ft longer and weighed more. The V10 burned honestly 3x the fuel I did. Go figure, and I could pull away? from him any dang time I tried.
Dodge and Ford are just bigger trucks. plus im not that big of a fan of a jap diesel, more of a? cummins guy. However if I had to buy one I would go with a GMC, I think they look better.
They come off the same assembly line. I have seen a new 1500 with both? Chevy and GMC badges. It was obviously the last truck of one model and the first of the next. My best friend was a salesman at the dealership. They are the same truck period.
