The Silverado 2500 HD is equipped with a 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8 engine and six-speed Allison automatic transmission. Test performed with traction control off. The 6.6-liter Duramax produces 397 horsepower and 765 foot pounds of torque.

@witherspoon1995 On one of their other reviews this truck got 21mpg highway with a full load of fire wood in the back.
Diesel gets much better mpg than gasoline and this truck is a diesel.

@DieselDemon18 Send me proof. Otherwise, I think that you’re just trying to make? Ford look bad. Even if they did take a private bailout, they’re still receiving much more praise than GM is. Look at their quality and reliability scores. The only thing I see improving in GM is their performance so far. .

@DeadofWinter321 they took a 26. 5 billion dollar private bank bailout thats why they did all that restructuring back then they also had set up a 9 billion dollar line of credit with the government that they refused. so you can say they didnt take a government bailou but? none the less they did take a bailout
