GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept Takes Heavy-Duty Capability To New Ground DETROIT — The GMC Sierra All Terrain HD concept is an exploration of heavy-duty truck capability combined with greater off-road versatility. It is highlighted by a bold exterior design, enhanced all-terrain suspension and premium details expected of a GMC — all designed to enable greater access to off-road destinations. The new 2011 Sierra HD underpins the All Terrain HD concept, with a modified, production-based 4WD chassis and the Duramax diesel/Allison 1000 six-speed powertrain. The enhanced suspension and unique body dimensions, including increased ground clearance and wider track, as well as greater approach/departure angles, deliver off-road capability while maintaining HD levels of payload and trailering capacity. “The Sierra All Terrain HD concept takes GMC’s outstanding new HD platform to the next level, marries it to the legendary Duramax diesel/Allison transmission, and provides a heavy-duty expression of GMC’s premium All Terrain package,” said Lisa Hutchinson, GMC product marketing director. “It delivers the exceptional capabilities of the Sierra HD — hauling, towing and performance — and applies them to the toughest driving environments. It’s the ultimate professional-grade tool for construction crews, ranchers and adventurers whose activities aren’t limited by where the pavement ends.” The Sierra All Terrain HD features a unique five-foot, eight-inch Crew Cab/short box body …
Great keep up the great? work. F&A
@MrRayman217 Dont get me wrong I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was made
i dont like the box its too small theres no way my quad could fit in the bed with thoes big side pockets
@superfly22158 i like it . . . . it just fits all together its perfect to me the way it looks they should really make this truck i would buy it if they do =]
the front grill looks to massive
@carmgn96 So it was every car in the road today, they all started as concept vehicles, that does not mean they won’t be mass produced buddy.
I hope it comes with tow mirrors
it looks like a dodge to me
why dont they change the inside! almost all gmc vehicles have the same dashboard!
Fuck this thing, i drive a POWER WAGON
Nice truck. Been looking at a Raptor but I’m just not a Ford guy. To bad it takes GM so long to get into gear and get concepts to market. I can’t imagine what would take so long. The frame and power train are exactly the same as a 2011 Sierra 2500.
i would just like to say that this will be offered with the Duramax engine which makes it better off road do to the monstrous amount of torque
Cool truck
@megaflex48
Have you even noticed it’s a concept?
wow i want one how long about 2013 or something??
whoever dissing gmc must be a driver of a ford you little bitch just wait till they come out
dude calm down its just a concept ford dodge and gmc all do the same shit just some do diffrent things better than the others and some break down more than the others calm down its just a vid
@AviationTech2 lol you called that truck a “Ford wannabe” which makes abso-fucking-lutely no sense at all.
@Jarhead1407 go fuck yourself
@AviationTech2 you’re such a fucking moron.
@nicshealy hell ya dude!!!! you put it right.
ford wannabe
@balla32636 So ummm built to last and go through anything isn’t high performance? If you want to talk out right speed then get away from trucks, even raptors aren’t that fast. Just to throw a few numbers out there Raptor 0-60 7. 17(sec) Chevy 2500HD 7. 23, 6 hundredths of a sec between a truck built for “racing” and a true blue tow pig, and if this is the racing version of that tow pig then, raptor is f’d. just saying. if you want to talk speed then umm do your research first.
dear santa. . . . . . . . .
I don’t know, my first impression is it looks like honda ridgeline.
