6.0 Powerstroke 2003-2004 High Idle Mod (a how to video)

This is a simple walk through on how to do the high idle mod for the 2003 to 2004 Powerstroke. 600 RPM to 1200 RPM.

   @ClinesStroker the later models will work, but? you will use the upfitter switches already installed

   @laundrybag if it was a? 3 prong switch it may need to be grounded.

   hey i have an 03 psd 6. 0l, i just tried this mod today, i? have everything the same as you, but i didn’t have any on/off 2 prong switches, all i had was 3 prong switches and i tried to hook it up all different ways, never high idled or changed idle at all. . . any suggestions????

   @lopinslow17 put key in, don’t turn on. . . . push and hold trip reset, turn key to on, but? don’t start, hold trip reset until gauges sweep, . . . . you’re in diagnostics mode. . . press trip reset repeatedly until tac shows up, start vehicle. When you turn it off, and start again. . . . back to normal.

   How do you? get it to read the RPM’s on the odometer?
