6.0l powerstroke smoking white smoke?

I recently got an 2006 Ford f-350 super cab short bed 6.0l Powerstroke turbo diesel with 52,600 miles.
It started smoking about 2 weeks ago and i took it to the dealer,(under warranty) and the checked the EGR the Injectors and its control module. It all checks out. There is some oil on the boost tubes. The truck runs great. The dealer says it runs like new. It smokes white smoke, when you pull from a light or when it warms up it smokes when you give it some throttle. There is no loss of boost. What could it be?? It runs to good to be a ring, or a piston, and i got pressure in my coolant so it isn’t a head gasket its a mystery, any clues??

You say the injectors have been check??? There’s three test for injectors. . . did they do all of them?Have the compression checked along with contribution (buzzing is the third test). . . . I remember my 96 7. 3 doing this. . . after it hit 450,000 miles : )

Everything you just said points to an o-ring. . . . pressure in the pistons increase at take-off that could cause oil to get past the o-ring. . . and the o-rings are tighter when first started, they expand after they warm up creating a better seal. It may run fine at cruising speed, where the psi of the injectors has leveled off.

I’ve heard other diesel guys with high milage trucks that run their preffered additive in their trucks. . . . sometimes they missed a regular fill up on the product and it would start smoking.

I suggest having a dealer or someone who knows 6. 0 litres well to check out the EGR cooler, they do have problems there. I also suggest that at your age and mileage you are likely covered on warranty. The engine has a five year 100,000 mile warranty.
