This was one of the only duramax’s I saw at the sledpull, but it was by far my favorite truck. I had to ask to figure this out, but I guess the white smoke at the beginning of the video is raw unburned diesel, and as the diesel starts to burn more completely it turns black. He placed second in his class at 346 feet 3 inches, and just 8 feet behind the leader.
