   It is easy to take the muffler out still have the cat. The cat is removable by two bolts. Keep the cat when it is emissions time install? it again and you pass! Simple way of makeing your truck sound. You may still have to by a cat back exhaust system with a muffler delete pipe, but much cheaper than the Banks exhaust kits that still have mufflers! Then you get a cat delete pipe(test pipe) and you are straight piped!

   what else? do you have done to your truck because i have the same exhaust but it is not as loud
