Powerstroke Performance – Duramax Performance – Cummins Performance

Best diesel truck? period.?

Ill admit that the 7.3L v8 diesel from Ford kicks ass… but new chevy duramax engines are strong as hell and give powerstroke a huge run for its money. And now, Dodge Cummins diesel’s can tow 18000 lbs and have 650 ft lbs of torque so it seems like they’re back in the running. So please tell me what you think is the best, hate all you want who gives a damn…

i honestly thing the Cummins is the best engine out there right now, but the rest of the truck is just complete garbage. Mopar’s build quality has been poor crap for the past few years, i’ve been seeing a lot of their cars and trucks having issues at as low as 50k. if some crazy bastard were to swap the Cummins into a Silverado, then you’d have the perfect diesel pickup.

The new 6. 7 powerstroke out performs both cummins and duramax in trq/hp and towing capacity. Have you seen the duramax/allison commercials for ford? They are sarcastic. . . as compared to ford’s commercials which give real world application tests. A cummins engine (5. 9 24v) bolted up to an allison tranny inside of a ford body/frame. . . . thats would be a bad set-up. Thats actually the truck on the last issue of Diesel Mag.
