Can you get carbon monoxide poisoning from a diesel engine?

I have a Volkswagen diesel engine, and I want to know if it is possible to get carbon monoxide poisoning from the car. Thank you!

    carbon monoxide is a product of diesel combustion, but it is significantly lower than a gasoline engine. that’s why diesels are better for the environment.

    You can get carbon monoxide poisoning from anything that uses fire to produce energy provided inadequate ventilation. Diesel fuels aren’t significantly worse or better than gasoline in that regard.

    yes you can. please don’t do anything foolish. and if there is something wrong with your car that might lead you to believe you get poisoning then fix it immediately!!!
