Powerstroke Performance – Duramax Performance – Cummins Performance

chevy vs ford Question?

what kinda money do you have to spend in a 6.4powerstroke to mach a stock duramax. my Buddy has a tune and pipes on his powerstroke and my dads stoke duramax still pounds it to the ground.
my dads is an allison truck. and bro no way cummins comes close man come on. 360 hp 600ft lbs stock dodge cant tuch that. oh at my dads is an 08. my budys ford is a 2006 and its piped and tuned like I said and It will run a 14.9 1/4 mile. I have seen stock duramax pull 14.1. LET ME SAY THIS AGAIN STOCK STOCK STOCK. what dose a cummins do like a 16.3 haha

it really depends on the application, chevy gas burner against ford gas burner-chevy wins, deisel on the other hand is kinda iffy. the powerstroke is a beast of a motor and ive heard that duramax isnt exactly a badass motor unless its backed by a allison transmission then its kickin everythings ass except a dodge cummins lol, also it depends on the year of both trucks, if the ford is newer and hes put a tuner and pipes it could be messin with the computers default settings, not everything is programmer safe, some things are not meant to be screwed with. . .

Actually the new duramaxs, are more powerful than the cummins, and powerstrokes.

yeah your buddys powerstroke would probably need at least 5 grand in performance work to catch a duramax. . especially a duramax with Allison transmission. . a friend of mine has a duramax with Allison and i’ve watched him beat up a few of those mustang cobras
