Diesel engine weighs four times more than a freight car, they couple together after the deisel coasts at 5km/h?

A diesel engine that weighs as much as four times more than a freight car. The diesel engine coasts at 5km/h into a freigt car that is intially at rest. Use the conservation of momentum to show that after they couple together, the two coast at 4km/h.

   The diesel engine slams into the car and then all the cars slam into each
   other. . . however conserative throzzle nozzle motion effect in reverse will
   nuetralize the overall effect.
