does a 3500 vs 454 chevy who wins?

ok if i had a 3500 chevy which would be better as far as towing the duramax that comes with it or the 454 chevy big block …. mud trucks i always see 454 and u need the torque to spin those big tires just wondering ….. looking at it from the towing/ mudding/ raceing point of view
