@mirc225 yea cause at school all they talk about it is cummins and cummins but i wanted to ask a duramax owner what his opinion is on the subject, because i hear LLY have had issues with over heating and that the LB7 just had injector issues but overall it gave better mpg and i hear that the LBZ is awesome and that the LMM that it sucks cause of all the emissions stuff. . sadly i live in california too so thats another down fall. @mirc225 its reliable but each engine model had its own issues. if i did a lil more home work i woulda got an LBZ. which would b the 2006 Duramax. Cummins are very reliable too, but the auto trans sucks. so i guess its just what u prefer to drive every day. . . i love my dmax tho. and i plan on building a mid 80’s chevy project wit a 12 valve cummins and a zf 6 speed. . .
dude so is the duramax reliable? and what mpg do you get? im planning on getting a diesel but i dunno if i should go cummins or duramax.

what size exhaust tips are those?
AEM cold air would give u more horses plus better milage and when u install the cold air get a high flow induction kit for it which gives more power off the cold air and engine combind
now get that modded and tuned like crazy and have fun smoking tail gatters lol

i got em right from bullydog. . . its the standard dual kit. i dont have it on my truck anymore cuz now i have stacks, but i liked it while i had it. . .

it almost sounds like gas 6. 0 when it idols from the back. . . . . . you need turbo back exhaust 5 inches and this thing would sound sick

put twin turbo on it. . . switching the intake . . . its some work but we can do it
Thats gonna be a hard one to do seeing how theres only one turbo. . . the exhaust is what drives the turbo and then exits out the back of the turbo and thru the down pipe. . . .
The only ways hes gonna ‘true dual’ it is if he has a turbo on the right bank and left bank of cylinders. . . but i would sure like to see you try
