   My brother chipped hs 01 Duramax he used pros to install and help him along with it they said to use PPE Origonal and keep the level below 5 for older Transmitions and weak trans.

   @txsurfer32 it will, i got an 05 duramax LLY with an edge attitude 5 stage chip that give it up to 125 hp and i have a stock allison transmission and transfer case and it been goin good for 250,000 miles.

   @txsurfer32 it should be fine. ihave a 2003 2500hd duramax and right now its running the bully dog performance chip with 350 hp and its never gave me a problem and its had the chip in it for 5 years. runs like a top. its got an allison, it can handle anything

    was your dmax stock in this video, because I have a 06 LLY and I wanna straight pipe it but I hear that it’ll throw codes thru the EGR if you take the cat out and I don’t
    wanna chip it I just wanna get some of the heat out because I tow with it.
