    You know that the only reason American cars aren’t made in america is because of union bull shit that would make them cost twice as much to build. Foreign companies aren’t subject to having unions in America which gives them the production edge. If we abolished unions then the American auto industry would be able to more easily compete on quality while serving forth the higher performance they have (at least in the truck market) for the same price point as they do now.

    American or not I do not care as long as it is fucking quality. The Tundra is still a Piece of shit. I would know, i got one and I am about to trade it in for a GMC.

  6. church400c says:

    @FordssuckPERIOD

    No matter where it is built the Toyota is still a Piece of shit. Period lol

    @RovingLandRover I pay more in taxes than what you ‘earn’ (get free from the government). I will say again TUNDRA IS NOT EVEN A TRUCK! Anyone who drives one is a cocksucking pussy. I have more invested in one of my trucks than what you earn in three years. Now get back to sucking shit covered cocks!

  8. 3Mudbone1 says:

    @RovingLandRover That is a complete lie!

  9. 3Mudbone1 says:

    the duramax is a joint gm- isuzi project but it is a tried and true japanese motor that was lightened up with aluminum heads and has gm electronics. & yes it is assembled in ohio. isuzu has been building diesels almost as long as gm has been building trucks so get over it.

  12. FordssuckPERIOD says:

    so toyotas built in that states makes them American??? lol

  13. JStrickland4496 says:

    @TheNeckasaurus honestly I think the better diesel engine comes from the owner and how they take care of their vehicles, I’m not tryin to start anything I’m just throwin that out there haha

  14. TheNeckasaurus says:

    @jordanschotte Haha I have an ‘03 3500 duramax that was purchased brand new, perfectly maintained. 96,000 miles and was on my 4th set of injectors, and 2nd going on 3rd tranny. Never once hauled a trailer more then 4k and was lightly used. Understandably there was a recall about the injectors and even after taking into the dealership I replaced the injectors two more times. I decided to buy a truck with a worth while engine and bought a cummins, not one problem yet.

  15. jordanschotte says:

    @TheNeckasaurus No need to apologize, I didn’t get sucked into buying my Duramax. I am sure it is ten times more vehicle than whatever you own. Maybe one day you will be able to stop discussing these trucks and own one. Isuzu did work in conjunction with GM on the motor design, but it is cast and assembled in the US. What’s not American about it? Millions of things were designed and built outside the US, does that automatically prevent them from being American?

  16. TheNeckasaurus says:

    @jordanschotte First off Im gonna apologize that you got sucked into buying a duramax, Im just going off what I read man, whether this is a recent happening or not I was under the assumption that isuzu had a very large part if not all in the design of the duramax motor. That literally has zero relevance to this discussion.

  17. jordanschotte says:

    @TheNeckasaurus Electronic engine controls? I take it your referring to the ECM, and unless I am suddenly illiterate my Duramax has a BOSCH ECM. The design was a joint venture with Isuzu, but once again the motor is cast and assembled in America. The internal combustion engine was conceived in Germany. . . so it must not be American either right?

  18. TheNeckasaurus says:

    @jordanschotte Isuzu pretty much designed the duramax motor tough stuff, GM had their hand in the electronic engine controls.

  19. jordanschotte says:

    @TheNeckasaurus You = idiot. Read a book and you will discover the Duramax is cast and assembled in the US.

  20. Rmdiesel91 says:

    @TheNeckasaurus The duramax engine was a joint venture bewteen general motors and Isuzu. The project was called DMAX. Both GM and Isuzu engineers designed this motor and it is manufactured in Moraine, Ohio. So even though Isuzu helped to design the motor, it is American made

  21. speedy02 says:

    The duramax was running him down!

  22. raykeens says:

    @TheNeckasaurus lmao the guy was an asshole

  23. chevroletboy7 says:

    @TheNeckasaurus right lol

  24. TheNeckasaurus says:

    @freakyboie19699 Show me facts

  25. freakyboie19699 says:

    @TheNeckasaurus The Duramax Diesel Engine is designed and manufactured by the American auto maker, General Motors.
