I was wondering if turbo on the Duramax Diesels are stock with a Turbo.
Better then ford in my book any day.
Yea isuzu is with GM last time i checked so i kinda firgured that. Isuzu makes good vehicles in my book as well (use them in the desert) And yes i do agree they are a better engine then ford, just wanted to make sure it was turbo before i invest in on, thanks guys.
All diesels use turbo’s.
Its a crappy motor. No steel liners,aluminum heads,frozen cylinder bores(like that hardens things). Connecting rods are frozen then snapped into for bearing inserts(micro fractures everywhere). G. M. is building a cheap diesel,but charging alot to make profitt. Carefully find out engines internals before you buy.
Duramax Diesel is a Turbo Diesel. Also, it is better than Ford’s Powerstroke Turbo Diesel. However, instead of disrespecting Ford, consider the GM Duramax is an Isuzu engine- not a GM engine.
