18 degree cold start 2006 F350 6.0 Powerstroke. First time that the truck was started in 3 weeks, it has been below freezing almost everyday, single digits over night. Glow plugs cycled once before video was taken. Not firing on all cylinders at first.

@nubbie1982 Actually the 6. 0 is a total piece of crap motor. JUNK. Boat anchor, yard art, scrap metal. I am a Ford guy through and through, and that motor was HORRIBLE. I now have a 6. 4 and have to say that I am not pleased with this fuel guzzling, quirky hunk of crap either. Disappointed.
The reason the 6. 0s start hard when there cold is they have a inlet strainer under the oil cooler that feeds the HPOP. ? When the oil is cold it cant pass through the strainer quick enough to properly feed the HPOP which is sending oil to the injectors to fire. Rotelas new T6 extreame temp. oil helps? with it big time
tard plug it in
the 6. 0 isnt that bad a motor ford just rushed the release of it before navistar was able to work out all the bugs and ya they hate the cold thats why we have things called block heaters they will save your motor so freakin plug in your diesel i do and it has allways been plugged in in the cold
She just needed some new injectors thats all.
Somebody always has to bad mouth somebody elses shit. If you dont like it then dont watch it or simply just say nice truck man. God damn assholes!!!!
they all sound like that in the cold temp. plug it up for easier start up. problem solved.
sounds like the rod did go out but towards the end of the film there was no rod there it already said fuck this 6. 0
6. 0 piece of shit. sounds like a rod want out.
OK so mine isn’t the only one that sounds like that
Sounds like a bag of smashed assholes.
