  7. danielyoder says:

it always easier to have? the engine pulled hmm

  8. seapeddler says:

Some Ford carb kits had accelerator pump diaphragms that were not viton and cracked prematurely.
Vehicle would shoot black smoke like a bear.
Sorry for making a non-heavy duty? comment.

Because of your 3F video, I’m going to be using O. E. M. filters and fluids from now on, and I drive gasoline-powered? cars.

  10. Xlt92bassist says:

there is another big problem with thos junk filters. when people end up swtiching to that filter, and then they buy a differant one, the? same size as the FORD one, and they keep the NAPA cap, it then alllows all the oil to drain back from the filter housing, causing low base oil pressure startups, or no starts

  11. Greg9942 says:

Saving a few dollars on oil and filters will cost you money. I worked for a time at Jiffy Lube. I quit because they always want you to try to get the customer to buy an extra part or service. Most of the time that stuff is not needed.
I have seen transmission fluid put into an engine, and engine oil put into a transmission. These folks have? little training. If they make a mistake, they usually don’t say anything. You find out later they messed up your car. Then they don’t accept responsibility.

  12. PD2GETU says:

Its true . . . use what came in your powerstroke . . . it will run forever ! Oil filters are the liver of your engine oil is blood . . . need i say more ? I have proof ! it cost me $4,800 for a new engine , im going? after express oilchange for the damages

  13. Colt45lc says:

These filters with the cap is one of the stupidest things Ive ever seen. I used to work at WalMart changing oil and had someone come in with a F350 6. 0 at about 7PM with one of these Wix filters. Well guess what, the Fram and Motorcraft filters we have reuse the stock cap. Being so late, nobody? was open, so we had to reinstall the said Wix filter and give him a discount.

  14. 1fastscottsdale says:

Im a diesel tech at a ford dealership? and most times people get lucky with just a dead injector or 2. The filters and the caps be it napa, car quest, or wix, will screw with oil pressure something fierce. Those oil cooler filters are a joke, they rip and tear just from normal usage.

  15. lectricgenius says:

I would think that you could go after any manufacturer of the filter that caused something like this. After all, if he hadn’t used? their filter, the pump would not have become damaged.

  16. beisel1111 says:

    7. 3 use spin on oil? filters.

  17. powerstroker14 says:

Me neither. I have always gone to the dealer for scheduled maintenance on my 6. 0. I? don’t trust those JiffyLube places. Their just out their trying to make money.

  18. PWRSTR0KER2008 says:

Bill, you are one of the greatest assets to youtube. I hope you stick around for a long long time. Thanks for? all the vids bud.

  19. mcrockett2001 says:

Damn right on that? filter Bill. OEM or suffer the consequences.

  20. BOBKB3NZX says:

Can i? come work for you?!

  21. 69rd96 says:

I never, ever get my oil changed at a “warranty approved” lube and go place, always at the dealership. Then everything that’s ever done to the truck is in their computers and if something goes? wrong, they can pin point it and find out who and what is to blame.

Do you really want a weed smoking college drop out changing your oil?

  22. roddyyy524 says:

is this the same way on the? 7. 3?

  23. edzgarage says:

I had a Wicks come? apart in my BMW.

  24. Xx69roadrunnerxX says:

I hope I never have to use the info you give (BESIDES for the preventative info) on my 6. 0L PSD.

I love these vids, they are extremely well done, keep me informed, and are fun to watch. You are doing all powerstroke owners a great service!!

Thanks you so? much, excellent job!
