It would be an enormous job. You would have to use an ECU that is made for that engine, find a harness that would mate the ECU to your car, replace the entire fuel system and most of the exhaust system. Depending on where you live, the car may not be license-worthy with a diesel because of emissions.
Sell it and buy a diesel model, you’ll have to replace half the car! The engine, all the ancilliaries, the battery, pretty much the entire wiring loom, the ECU, the exhaust, the gearbox (the petrol box ratio’s will be awful for diesel), and probably the driveshafts as the diesel and petrol ones probably won’t be the same. Proabably more stuff too, not to mention the fuel tank and pumps!
