I don’t have any money to pay for them and the disabled person is very very sick and can’t go out to cash their checks. It’s signed but I still can’t cash it because it’s like a government check and banks say the person has to be there.
But I need power of attorney over his finances. Lawyers want to charge me and I ask everyone I think would know and they have no clue how to do it! I need them free!!!!

They are correct.
Legal aid attorneys don’t charge for their services. Some law schools might provide legal help.
Is the disabled person competent? I would think that a notarized power of attorney should be enough. (I’m neither a lawyer nor a banker. )
