how much would it cost to have a transmision swap done on a 97 dodge cummins 12 valve diesel.?

i have a 97 dodge 3500 cummins diesel. Its an automatic. i want a manuel. how much would it cost to make that happen at a shop?

   you would be better of just tradeing the truck for a manuel

   i can tell you exactly how much it cost because i have did one before,counting parts and labor it would cost you around 2500 bucks to get it done,there’s a lot of parts that have to be swapped out but any salvage yard will be glad to hook you up with the parts to do it with providing you can find someone to do the labor part of it,not too many shops these days want to get in to changing those over,labor part alone is about a grand on doing that one,good luck.
