I have a 1977 ford f250 and i was wondering if i could put a diesel engine in it?

What is the better diesel engine the 7.3 or the 6.9 and is there any differences?

   yea with money and talent you can do any thing but you would have to make a couple of mods, there has to be a differences but i dont know
