okay heres the deal! i bought a 2004 wrecked silverado for $3000. its an original v6, and im going to do a major engine swap, need your feedback on the following options im considering:
1.drop in a supercharged 6.0 vortec
2.drop in an LS2 with a 6 speed manual (supercharged, turbo)
3.drop in a stroked out 8.1 vortec twin turbo, 6 speed manual!!!
4.drop in a duramax diesel, automatic allison transmision or 6 speed manual
5. or the famous LS7 but its too expensive =0(
let me know what setup you guys think its best. but for sure my truck is going to haul a.s.s when its finished.

I think your dreaming, the harness will be a nightmare the perches will hard to fit up and the wireing harness, the BCM, and ECU will be differant and you looking for a world of head achs sorry bro
Well you must have a lot of money cuz those are all really expensive. The duramax diesel would be your best bet cuz you can tune turbo diesels for tons of HP like 1000+ hp easy, and with a small silverado the truck will be light so it will benifit a lot more.
leave it alone sell it and buy a duramax auto or 6 speed super tune it.
By the time you get done with this modification and everything that will be required. . . ECM, BCM, Onstar Module, wiring, sensors, etc. . . you could have gone and bought a truck with the setup you want. You are creating your own Hell if you attempt this modification.
