If I Put A little Diesel In My Mower’s Gas Tank With Gas Will It Smoke?

I Got Stacks On My Riding Mower And Im Wanting It To Blow Black Smoke When I Rev It Up
Some People Say Put A Match In The Gas Tank (An Unused Match Or A Burnt Match)
And They Say Mix A Little Diesel With My Gas And Put It In The Tank And It Will Blow Black Smoke???
And What About Putting 2-Stroke Oil With My Gas Will That Work
The Diesel Wont Mess Up My Mower Will It?

   It probably will smoke while it’s still running. And yes it will mess up your mower. The oil in the diesel and two stroke oil will at least foul the plugs and will likely cause other problems.

   It will produce white or gray smoke (depending on how much diesel or other oil is added) and it will mess up the engine.

   There is no smart way to do a stupid thing.

   We have used diesel in our honda air compressors and generators when we got in a pinch where we ran completely out of gas but as far as smoke the engines are too small to produce much more than a barely visible haze. And as far as the other people are saying about it messing the engine up running on diesel will not mess it up but it will run like crap and have low power till you get straight gas again.
