I’d put my money on a Cummins any day of the week! Ask any Dodge owner with an “old high mileage truck”!
They are all good and all have their own glitches. My pick: duramax, best power and fuel economy. Only con: Have to replace the fuel filter before you do the oil! Popular mechinics had an article that tested diesel pickups, and commented a lot on the engines. . . . . check it out!
Cummins all the way,I have seen tons of them with way over 200,000 miles, most of them beat up farm trucks, truck is falling apart around it,but the engine is going strong. the Duramax seems ok enough but I work at a GM dealer Chevy and GMC and they seem to have a few reliability issues as of late,
12v cummins by a long shot, and Im a ford guy. Id swap one into my f350 in a heartbeat if I had the money.
