Is it possible to put a turbo diesel engine in a 1998 Audi A4?

I am somewhat of an Audi whore, but I was/am strongly considering selling my pride and joy and buying a Volkswagen Golf TDI strictly for the gas mileage and extended engine life, but I would love, love, love if I didn’t have to get rid of my Audi A4. I know it’s a long shot, but is there any way to put a turbo diesel into a ‘98 Audi A4?

   if they’re both front wheel drive, your audi may be awd or quatro as the call it but still it would prob fit. its not gonna fit easy but hey if you got the money you can do anything to that car.
