This is my small but reliable diesel engine out for a run on a nice sunny day (for a change) This is the first higher quality video out of 4 which I will be uploading. the other 3 will contain theLister D type, the Wolseley WD8 and the Petter A11. Better seen in HQ.
I CAN TELL YOU THE HP THE ENGINE IS A 3HP.
@JULIOAA1 I am still searching for a little generator for it and my other engines to drive at the moment so watch this space!!
you could make a generater
Awesome engine! It is music to my ears. Thanks for posting.
Hi Angus,
How you doing? I just got myself a Petter AD1 to play with. Started first time after 2 years sat outside but only ran for a moment on hardly any fuel. Going to get some diesel at the weekend and go for a proper run.
I’m going to neaten it up a bit too, do you ever rally your LT1?
Phill.
If you go on the Lister Petter Website theses engines are still in production!!
She seems to run without too much vibration for a diesel – you’d have to chase my PAZ1 across the yard to keep up with it, even with the castor brakes on!
Did you know that LT stands for Little Tiger as seen on publicity items for this engine.
there are loads of this on ebay, but I bet they are not as good as this one!!
Thanks. : )
Yes I believe they are hight wise but I think they are more powerful.
Very nice! Are these LT’s smaller than the LR’s?
Cheers.
I think I might be tempted to buy an lr or t when I get another storage shed.
Nice engine. Wouldnt mind one myself.
