Powerstroke Performance – Duramax Performance – Cummins Performance

Looking for a Chevy full size truck w/ standard transmission?

Like year 2000 or newer…i’m not even sure if they made them then. I’d like all the options EXCEPT automatic trans. Is this possible? Also, did they put manual transmissions w/ the Duramax diesel in any year? How hard would it be to find one?

yes, yes, yes, you will have to look for a 2500, or a 3500 truck they only put the duramax in them. it is easy yo find one go to yahoo autos and type in what you want and search . i dont know if you have drove a duramax with the allison tranny, but i used one to haul a 12,000 llb scaper for 70 miles on the highway and it pulled great. . .

Not sure about the Durmax coming with a manual, but I do know that in 99 when that body style came out you couldn’t get a manual with a 5. 3L V8, only 4. 8L V8 or 4. 3L V6. Also couldn’t get a manual with the towing package. It made alot of buyers mad, so Chevy might have changed since then.
