    actually the 12v’s were set about 2750rpm, and the 24v’s and CR’s about 3200. with proper mods, they can safely handle high rpms. All depends on how much money you want to spend.

    @drbdiesel

    you tell em hoss.

    @caulk04 Thanks!

    I’ve seen you pull all year long, truck runs real strong! I’ve always wondered just exactly what RPM you cummins guys turn.

    @drbdiesel your right look at common rails now 5000+ rpm stock other than efi thats awsome

  7. drbdiesel says:

    @Dodge5410 Lmao, build a 800hp truck and come talk to me. Its not built to “sound good”.

  8. drbdiesel says:

    @Dodge5410 Your a moron too I see, get a clue and come talk to me. Look through my vids, youll see it runs better thean “good”.

  9. Dodge5410 says:

    @drbdiesel It obviously doesn’t run too good man. Or sound too good

    I need a diesel!

  11. drbdiesel says:

    @s154×4 Theres over $20,000 in the motor and driveline. Cummins also built that motor to make 215hp. . . but its well into the 750-800hp range on a single 2. 6 turbo now.

  12. s154x4 says:

    @drbdiesel Yeah I do know a fare bit about diesel performance but I guess if it’s blueprinted and ballanced it would be okay for a while but I dunno you’d think they where set at 3200 rpm’s from factory for a reason.

  13. drbdiesel says:

    @Dodge5410 ???? The motor was up to operating temp, it never gets run hard, pulled or reved above 2k until its at 180.

  14. drbdiesel says:

    @s154×4 Your a moron who obviously doesnt know much about diesel performance. . . These trucks when built right can spin WAY more rpms.

  15. drbdiesel says:

    @twotone505 Its runs 65psi at idle, and only pulls down to 52psi.

  16. drbdiesel says:

    @SeckSeySam Thank you! 5,500 is actually pretty mild in the sled pulling world, my friends truck comes off the line at 7,000rpms.

  17. REDNECKCABLETV says:

    people the truck doesnt have feelings ok it didnt go home and tell his girlfriend about its day because it has not feelings get over it

  18. SeckSeySam says:

    Fuck the haters, they obviously don’t own a built sled pulling truck and dont know shit.

  19. twotone505 says:

    Nice, but it sounds like it can use more fuel pressure, I run mine around 35 at idle and 60psi at 2k with the motor unloaded.

  20. s154x4 says:

    That’s smart revving a diesel to 5,500 RPM’s that won’t last long doing that. Dumb ass.

  21. Dodge5410 says:

    Why do you drive a diesel when you obviously don’t know that its cold. . .

  22. 1000cfm says:

    DUMB ASS!!!!!

  23. dkchapss says:

    poor truck

  24. TheVolvoSpeed says:
