and i have pulled the ford power stroke out on numerous occasions so it defintely does not have enough power plus chevy has been number one for many years now according to all my research i was wondering if anyone could think of alternatives for my options i want a different truck and dont like dodge
Hi. . . . get that big International pick up with the allison. That is one tough looking truck!!
It sounds to me like you need to put down the “car and driver” and pick up a wrench. I have seen all 3 (Duramax, Powerstroke, and Cummins) diesels putting up over 800hp and 1500ft-lbs of torque with the proper amount of elbow grease.
ford explorer tubo desial
Mercedes Freight liner. Or Caterpillar V12 motored Big rig twin turbo over twin supercharged. Full size cab and sleeper air suspension. And have it customized just the way you want. The newest Ford two turbo 7. 2 liter will be pulling out your truck when you get stuck soon. Diesel Power wars are about to come to a stop as prices top $5. 00 a gallon that’ll take all the pleasure out of a trip to the beach. 2010 when particulate emissions (Tier3-Bin1) start, ultra low sulfer and thermo reactor chambers to reburn carbons extra fuel will be used to clean up the combustion process thus any milage advantage will be gone. There will always be the need for powerful trucks expect to see many older trucks kept running. Get several Isuzu motors for your Dura-Max now when you can still afford them Japan products are only going to be more expensive if you wait.
Get a Peterbilt or Kenworth with a DDEC. You might look at a Mack too.
