Serious Question!?!?

I have a 2003 Chevy duramax and i have gotten to 1604 EGT, is this bad?

i think you are talking exhaust gas temp and yes for a diesel temp to get that hot you are getting right up their i have seen them get hot en-of to make the manifold get Cherry red but a lot of time you will take out a turbo by doing so. what was you doing of are you running a Bull dog or some kind of power chip their are some chip out their that are tearing more stuff up than they are doing good. and not covered by warranty. good luck
