   Have to Love the Idle Growl !! A Boat I am Working on Has Twins,
   18 to 22 GPH, Its really neat sound when the two Sync up.

    @BOBKB3NZX Duh, my bad. I should known that. but @ about 1 minute in @ idle its doing it too or at least is sounds that way to me. But on the high end makes total sense. I only got to drive an ISX400 around the lower 48 in a Volvo 670.

    @addamochs its not, thats the rev limiter, a fresh rebuild was done on it, so he had to seat the rings and bearings. best part. . . thats redline at 2500rpm

    how much does this engine weights? I have a PBR. . . Patrol Boat River and would be nice to install one of this. . . in future may I buy some powerboat catamaran withoust engines and install two of those in!

    525HP – and, going by Detroits in general, 2000+ lbs-ft of torque. Most Detroits make 4x the horsepower in torque. GAAAHHHH, I LOVE IT! }:D
