what are the effects of using kerosene in a diesel engine?how much more or less mileage?

how will it affect my engine(will it damage my engine)
and what other fuels can i use that will not hurt my diesel engine?

    In theory they are the same. In practice kerosene is made to much less stringent requirements.

    There’s no guarantee that it will hurt it, the kerosene manufacturers will not guarantee the other way around. But if bad diesel was to ruin you engine at least you can sue them for the repair cost.

    In a pinch you can use Kerosene (or even jet fuel) but you should limit yourself to just few miles till you get to the next station.

    You will get less mileage and power. You can blend a few gallons into no 2 diesel to keep it from jelling in the winter.
