Why do the Big 3 diesel engines have suggestive names.?

Like Duramax, Powerstroke, and Cummins. Coincidence? Duramax sounds like a brand of condoms, Powerstroke is just plain wrong and Cummins… Who would of thought?

Duramax could be interpreted alot of ways.
Powerstroke refers to the third piston stroke in the four stroke cycle, the power stroke.

they’re only suggestive if you go to the gutter right away. if you’re concerned about the names being suggestive just stick to cat and detroit which don’t have suggestive names.
