@narcoti du u think a stupid car engine can power a boat vorward but that (bigger engine) with lower horsepower can do that. a car engine with more power can not do that why bcoz its smaler thats why i hate catapilars shitty litle hi speed engines

Time to stop crying try Naughty women benaughtyman. info

Great engine start – nice sound!

  6. anvil357 says:

as long as it has a good beat, what the hell lol

  7. noithasntbeen says:

Ive never seen anyone dance to a diesel engine. Amusing. And the beautiful blonde girl adds a nice touch.

  8. bugsier5 says:

without a pre heater it also runs on straight veggy oil!

  9. bugsier5 says:

(it has to be a liqid indeed, not solid heavy feul!)(that’s what y mean with as long as the pump can pump it , it doesent have to be 70 deg celc as ir road diesels!)

  10. bugsier5 says:

this engine doesen ‘t need a pre heater, it wil run on any oil!(as long as the pump can pump it!)

  11. jdiderik says:

It’s runs on diesel. . thankfully my tugboat is a registered monument so I can run it on low-tax diesel. . .

  12. turtles24601 says:

does it run on diesel or heavy oil? i know that sounds stupid, but alot of the older diesels liked to be run on something abit. . . juicier than diesel lol

  13. Rogier21 says:

    Klinkt goed! :)

  14. ribratimmon says:

. . . even than thats not why. this is likely a train engine, and trains engines need more torque and pulling power over horsepower, so that is why.

  15. jdiderik says:

he he, the answer is in your question. A modern engine has, but this engine was build in 1940. . . .

  16. narcoti says:

why so low of horsepower a modern car engine can make more horsepower than that

  17. jdiderik says:

    Ok, you scream that I need new pumps. . . you’re of great help. . . ?!?

  18. MIKESEAGREEN says:

    YOU NEED NEW PUMPS.

  19. blondiebigtits says:

    rotterdam!

  20. marooncorsa says:

Wow thats some mighty fine engine you have there, Its in good hands so it should last a lifetime that engine. Diesels run forever!

  21. jdiderik says:

Nope, it’s powering my tugboat. I don’t know about torque, it’s delivering 180Hp to a 4 blade prop of 1. 4 meters in diameter. And yes, it’s air started.

  22. marooncorsa says:

is that powering a generator? what sortof torque is it putting out? and i take it that its an air started engine?

  23. douro20 says:

With a preheater you could run straight vegetable oil in this engine quite easily.

  24. tpvalley says:

Can u tell us all more about the engine?
    HP? bore X stroke?
    Keep on dancing!

  25. jdiderik says:

After some more inspection it turns out it actually does around 90 when warm and in neutral, and could go 300, but I’ll never push it this far anymore, around 225 is the optimal with the current prop(economically, diesel isn’t that cheap, and technically)
